New WIP, yarn and kitty, postcards!
Not a ton of knitting today, I did laundry and cleaned. :(
But I did manage (last night actually) to start my socks for the solid socks KAL. Here they are:
I'm knitting the Denmark pattern from Knitting On the Road in Patons Kroy.
Also wanted to show off some yarn that I'm very excited about, posed here with the kitty:
She's thinking "Why does she do this to me?" but obliged and pretended to hold the yarn when I put it on top of her. ;)
And finally pictures of the postcards on my wall. I've finally caught up with putting them up, except the most recent one from Skip - oops!
The photo is kinda blurry, but I have closeups for another day. :)

i have some kroy but havent used it yet. someone told me it is hard to work with.
Cool pattern I like that book too!
I have white kitty and she LOVES posing with my yarn & needles.....My kitty tried to knit but seeing your kittys claws out I don't think you had to force her.....LOL
A response:
to memyselfandi - the Kroy is certainly not the most soft and fluffy yarn to work with, and it's a bit splitty. But it's fairly inexpensive, comes in many colors and really turns out nice after washing. Overall I'd say it's a positive. :)
to soap fiber gal - Those actually aren't her claws. She wears claw covers (little plastic things) and they show a little even when her claws aren't out. Although they might be out a little in the picture... It sounds silly, but she's a big fan of kneading and I was tired of getting poked in the shoulders. ;)
What a cute cat!!!
Figures...the one time you actually want the cat to play with the yarn she looks at you as though she is doing you a massive favor. The second you start knitting with it, though, I bet you can't keep her away.
She's a cutie, though! And the yarn looks nice, too.
