A "Yay!" and a "Thanks!"
Yay!
Pattern: Whitby from Knitting On the Road
Yarn: Regia cotton sock yarn
Started: January 16th
Finished: February 7
The Whitby socks are done. They look ugly in the picture, but I swear they're pretty on a human. But they're not for me, so I tried them on before I washed them (and forgot to take a picture) and you're getting the washed and ready to send version. These are Sock Savior socks for Sockapaltwoza or whatever the 2nd one was. :)
And now for the "Thanks!"
Danielle sent me this not-quite-so-random RAoK of some beautiful pink angora and adorable stitch markers. The angora is so soft and fluffy, I have to think of something really special to make with it. I've never knit with angora before! Any suggestions?

lovely fluffy yarn....if enough yardage, why not try a shrug. Like the sox too.
Love the socks!
Good job on the socks! Lucky to receive the angora and stich markers. I've never knit with angora either.
Nice socks! However...I think I could just stare at the yarn forever...so pink and soft....yummy!
I love the socks! They look so comfy!
Oooh, that angora looks heavenly. Love the Whitby's! Thanks again for being a sock savior! :)
(PS - Don't forget to send me an email about that Meilenweit yarn.)
Hi Ariel~
I got some beautiful socks in the mail Saturday!
Thank you so much!!
Oooo..gorgeous angora. I know the yardage on it isn't huge! Maybe a neck warmer? Anythig cabled probably won't show stitch def. What about a lace scarf? Maybe Branching out from Knitty? Or that one w/ hearts they did a while ago for breast cancer awareness? oooo...or Misty Morning from Scarf Style? Which is just a basic "old shale" of you don't have the book...
