Road Trip Socks
Upon arrival in Oregon the Vesper socks (aka Road Trip Socks) had a bit more traveling in store. They accompanied me to Seattle for a few days and then back down to Oregon where we headed out to Silver Falls - a state park with many waterfalls.
It was a beautiful place to do a bit of hiking.
Then a couple days and some episodes of Heroes later... the Road Trip Socks were finished!
Yarn: Vesper in Venus in Furs
Pattern: my plain ol' sock pattern in my head
Needles: 2.25mm
Started: 8/22/08
Finished: 9/8/08

one of my favorite parks in oregon. Gorgeous!
Cool socks - and gorgeous waterfalls! Must have been an unforgettable hike.
Gorgeous place to hike - and nice socks too!
That is a stunning nature pic! Improved by the presence of socks, but utterly amazing all by itself.
I lived in PDX for six glorious years from 89-95 and moved back east kicking and screaming. Just when you think the winter drizzle is going to kill you everything starts to bloom - like in the Wizard of Oz when it switches to Techincolor. Enjoy, best of luck to you, and keep on SKIPing.
so how has your relocation been treating you?
