Blogiversary

Five years ago I started this blog. I was a fairly inexperienced knitter, and had just moved to Boston and discovered the wonders of knitting groups. I've come a long way!

The blog has gone on more or less that whole time. Some times have been more active than others, and the fact that I pretty much only post finished stuff doesn't help with that. But I feel pretty accomplished for keeping the blog going for this long.

So, in celebration, I'm having a contest. Leave a comment on this post by midnight on Monday September 14th telling me what your favorite thing is that I've knit. You can even cheat and look at my Ravelry projects page. I'll select a random comment and that person will win a pair of socks knit by me. I'll find out your general yarn and pattern preferences and figure out something fun. :)

I'll be camping with my sisters this weekend, so I might not be able to approve comments right away, so never fear if you don't see yours for a while.

I love so many of your socks it was hard to choose, but I was really drawn to the "Rainbow socks, again" so lets call those my favorite.
Happy Blogiversary!

Happy Blogiversary! Mine is coming up in a few days.

I love your Frankensocks, but I'm going to say my favorite is your Portland Tweed vest. I like it so much that I'm putting it in my queue.

Great job blogging for all these years!

Congratulations on 5 years of blogging! I don't comment a lot, but I like to visit your blog to see all the great socks. (I'm a big sock knitter too.) I really like the Twisted Flower socks you made recently. The color is so pretty with the intricate pattern.

Your Rogue Hoodie is my favorite. It was my first ever sweater, so I know how much work went into it. I love all of your socks though. :)

Polly Jean! Because.. it's a fantastic pattern and you used an excellent color for the yarn! (Oh wait, it's "my" pattern and I picked out the yarn for you LOL)

No, actually my favorite one is the Triple 8 socks (Oak Ribbed) - I think it's probably because of the memory attached to it - the fact that we actually have a picture taken of us WITH those socks in our hands. Hah!
