Oh, hello blog!
When I posted about Garnish I had also finished a pair of socks. But I wanted to tell you about the new pattern, and I was waiting for the socks to get to Canada in the mail - which always takes longer than you would think but especially during the Olympics!
But now they're there and you can see them:
Pattern: (Black)hearted
Yarn: Hazel Knits Artisan Sock in Jubilee
Started: 2/12/2010
Finished: 2/22/2010
I started these at Madrona to replace the Mochi socks as my easy knitting. Everything before and after the hearts is mindless, and I always need a mindless project to keep in my bag.
Although I cast on for them during Opening Ceremonies, they weren't really a Knitting Olympics project or anything like that. I just happened to have finished my other socks earlier that day and decided that it would be fun to cast on with everyone else. And I happened to finish them within the Olympics too. Total coincidence.
Well, this blog has been a bit quiet as I have been spreading my knitting over many projects (never good for finishing) and knitting some secret stuff (never good for blogging), but I'll try to keep it a bit more frequent in the near future.
