The knitters go out!
This afternoon a bunch of knittyboarders gathered in the lobby of the hotel to meet. Enallagma9, Bryghtrose, Kirsti, me, polarg, and Joanna - bitterknitter (taking the picture). The "Magnificent 7".
We met and went from there to Newbury Yarns to look around and drool over yarn. After hitting Windsor Button, grabbing some food, and losing a few along the way to other commitments, Kirsti, polarg, bryghtrose, and I headed back to the hotel for some knitting and chatting. We soon realized we were all knitting socks.
Add those to the three handknit pairs we were wearing between the four of us and you get a lot of socks!
I also had to share the Jaffa Cakes.
Fun was had by all. Maybe too much fun, when we realized it was 10pm and we should probably go home. ;)

Yay! Thanks for blogging and getting the pics up so fast. Getting to meet you and Jenn really made my Boston trip. Hopefully I'll be out this way again soon.
Hey, I'm only 5'3"and even I feel tall around Stariel. (could have been my clog heels...)

Wow! Looks like you all had an awesome time! How cool to meet up with people you usually only meet on the net! (well except for Jenn) :)
What fun! And I love being able to put names with faces...and some socks :).

WOW! What happened I didn't get the invite...;o(((( You's don't like me no more???? I would've made the drive up...with my socks in tow... Let me know the next time.. I've never been to Newbury Yarns not yet...

Looks like you all had a great time. Who knows I might get to meet up with you all some day. However I will be meeting Scott and Glittrgrl at Woolfest in June.
