Zombies and sock knitting
Tonight I watched 28 Weeks Later and knit through the gusset of the Madder Ribbed Socks. The movie wasn't as good as the first, but sequels rarely are. It was decent.
This is one of those yarns that surprised me with how it knit up. I had no idea it was going to stripe from looking at the ball, if I had I would have matched the stripes up. But as it was I didn't know and when I did discover that there was a recognizable striping pattern I decided it would be ok unmatched. (I know, shocking.)
There really isn't much exciting going on the knitting front.
I'm thinking about which projects to take with me on my Thanksgiving trip - I probably need some plain-er socks to show my mom with, and I was thinking about taking the Baby Norgi since that's a good way to force myself to actually knit on it. That and one of the abandoned pairs of socks...

Socks make everything better, even bad sequels.
