An evening of knitting and LOST
I finished up the last disc of Season 3 of LOST (while knitting, of course!) and was happy to see that all the Season 4 episodes are still up on abc - so I'm working on those now too. It's a partial snow day so it's the perfect time to knit socks and watch LOST.
Java loves to help me by plunking herself down on my desk on top of everything:
She just climbed up on the desk and got all comfy on top of a knitted shawl, two sock bags, three skeins of sock yarn, a pattern, and a skein of handspun. And since she was displaying the BFF sock progress so perfectly I decided to take a picture.
All that LOST watching means another pair of socks:
Pattern: Yankee Knitter #29 (these were knit for my class)
Yarn: Regia Design Line by Kaffe Fassett in "Landscape Storm"
Started: 1/20/08
Finished: 2/22/08
I just had to look up the color name, and how appropriate!
I'm glad to be adding another pair of plain stockinette socks in a tough yarn to my collection - as much as I love knitting fancy patterns I keep coming back to my 75/25 wool/nylon stockinette socks when it comes time to decide what to wear.
And tomorrow it's off to SPA!

I have that same Regia! And I've been watching Season 4 of Lost today online. How funny. Have fun at SPA. I was thinking about going, but decided to avoid temptation. :-)
I still haven't gotten time to get into LOST- someday, though!

And of course Java will plunk down on top of your desk mess. It's mostly made of yarn, which means it's the perfect nest.

See... I can't quite watch Lost & knit (although you can probably knit socks in your sleep by now) because the story lines are a bit complicated and I don't want to miss anything.
BTW - I've succumb to pressure, I've started a pair of socks myself!
