A new sock knitting goal
For a while now I've been thinking about sock knitting goals. Besides numbers and the like, I'd like to try as many kinds of sock yarns as possible - and not necessarily things which are strictly sock yarn, although I'm unlikely to knit socks with worsted or laceweight. ;)
So I've posted a list in the sidebar of all the sock yarns I've used, and a list of the ones I have in the stash but haven't yet used (although this one may be a little less complete).
Check out the list - it's just above the progress pics - and let me know if you can think of any other yarns that I should try!
ETA: I'm not a fan of silk, so it's unlikely I'll try any of the silk blend yarns.

I don't see Opal on your list, that's so far my fav superwash type. And did I see Mountain Colors? I don't remember but that's another nice one.
Socks that Rock and Trekking come immediately to mind. And what about Interlacements (Toasty OR Tiny Toes)?
Fleece Artist merino sock yarn. The yarn feels similar to Koigu, but I think a little sturdier. I haven't tried Regia Silk, but I've heard great things.
you must try Anne, regina silk & mountian colors too. Theres more but I won't list them all. I use al kinds of stuff even have used KSH in a pair of socks wonderful!
What about Regia silk and the new knitpicks wool/silk blend, Gloss?
What about the Merino/Tencel blend Lucy at Mind's Eye dyes? There's also Jknits (you tried to steal it from me)
Artyarns Ultramerino, Jojoland Wool Yarn, Marks & Kattens Clown, Meilenweit Mega Boot Stretch, The Spinning Bunny Yarns Blue Faced Leicester, Curious Yarns Sock Yarn.
(so yeah, I jsut went through my stash and listed all my sock yarns that you didn't list). And you can't steal any of them :P
austermann step! i haven't tried it, but it's the sock yarn w/ aloe & jojoba oil in it that's supposed to be nice. :) it's one of the yarns on my wishlist.
I just wound up some Woolarina sock yarn last night and I'm very excited to start knitting with it.
I'd be interested to see if you liked all the sock yarns you've knit with. Maybe an asterisk to mark the personal favorites?
Mountain Colors Weaver's Wool, especially with the Three Trails patterns. It's the same weight as Bearfoot but all wool and a wider range of colors because apparently they can't dye the Bearfoot with some of their light colorways. It's one of my favorites and accounts for half the socks I own.
