My poor neglected blog!
First off, socks #16:
These socks are just simple stockinette, in old Lorna's Laces Bee Stripe yarn. How do I know it's old? Well because the labels are different, of course. ;) Also you may notice some light spots on the left sock above - not your imagination, there were actually little bits of white in one of the skiens.
These also demanded to be my project for A Passage to India which I read for Knit the Classics. There are several mentions of wasps in the book, which made these socks oddly appropriate.
In additional knitting news, there has been slow but sure progress on a lot of things recently. I've been pretty busy but I've still managed to do a lot of knitting - much of it on the above socks which are really tall.

I hate when I see those poor little white spots.. Do you remember where you purchased it form maybe they'll replace it for you.
Cool colorway! Nice to see you back around here.
oh btw- where will the pattern for these socks you test knitted be shown
Snazzy socks, esp. with the heel and toe patterned as you've done. Get some more Bee Stripe and tell those Princeton Tigers you're available -- for a price!
Nice bee stripes!
I still need to try some LL socks.
Too bad about the white bits. meh. But not noticeable til you pointed them out to me!
A Passage to India? Best book ever! You should definitely watch the movie version by David Lean, as it's soooo romantic and pretty. Not terribly accurate, tho.
They came out great!! I love them! I saw they still have Bee Stripes - I wonder if they're getting the dye distributed more evenly now...
Very cool!!
You are surely a great sock knitter my summer fling upstream!!
Package is in the mail and it tells you who I am on the knittyboard too!! Since you are my first SP please forgive me if I don't know what I am doing, ok?
