Cascade Fixation ankle socks
Here are my very basic, but oh so comfy ankle socks. I got two socks out of one ball with leftovers (but keep in mind I have small feet - size 5 1/2 to 6 US or 35/36 European!)
In other news, I'm totally in love with the Curlicue Coverlet which I saw over at Grumperina's blog. Now I'm going to have to make one of these, as soon as the rest of my WIPs and PIPs (Planning in Progress) get done.

Omg that pattern is awesome. Beyond awesome, it's gorgeous. And as such, absolutely must be added to my list of to do's. ;)
cute socks, btw.
The Curlicue Coverlet is great. I don't think I'd ever get it done. It would be my perpetual WIP!
Love the socks. Good to know you can get 2 ankle socks out of one ball of Fixation. I have slightly bigger feet than you at size 6. ;)
Loe the socks - where did you get the pattern at? I have cold feet in the winter - these would be great!
Hey Genia,
I didn't actually use a pattern. I just cast on and knit about 10 rows in stockinette for the rolled cuff, then started the heel flap and did regular gusset shaping, knit to desired length and shaped the toe. It's really easy, you can use any basic sock pattern for the heel and toe!
